SEA TRIP TO THE ISLAND OUR LADY OF THE ROCK

We go by boat to the island of the Our Lady of the Rock, cutting through the waters of the Adriatic Bay near the city of Perast. You will see a breathtaking panorama of two Islands — the man-made Our Lady of the Rock and the closed natural Saint George. In this leisurely boat ride, you will feel the local flavor of the silent Islands, protected by the sea for many centuries. Going up to the island of the Virgin Mary, you will see the temple of the same name and will be able to get acquainted with its relics. On a tour of the Bay Of Kotor, you should definitely visit the man-made island of the Holy Virgin. On the place where the island with the Catholic Church is located today, a miracle-working icon of the most Holy mother of God was found a long time ago and we decided to build an island in her honor. Inside the temple there are many valuable artifacts, including a unique altar made of four types of marble. This place in former times was often visited by sailors and their relatives. Visitors left their gifts to the Holy place. Today, mostly foreigners come here. By going up to the second floor of the Church, you can sea the archaeological artifacts.
