The island of the Our Lady is attractive because of the ancient Church of the same name — the spiritual center is not only this small piece of land, but also the whole Perast. Going inside, we will see amazing icons and murals on the walls from the talented painter Tripo Kokolja, an altar of four kinds of marble, an organ, and many other amazing things. Here is the heart of the island-a unique icon of the mother of God from the needlewoman Jacinta Kunic, who gave her creation to the temple in the XVIII century. Jacinta used the most complex embroidery technique, which she perfected over this icon for 25 years. She also used her gray hair, which adorned the head of the mother of God. On the island there is an interesting Archaeological Museum, a lighthouse and a souvenir shop.
