We will set off across the Adriatic Bay by boat, cutting through the turquoise expanse of water. Once inside, we will see the amazing icons and paintings on the walls from the talented painter Tripo Kokol, an altar of four types of marble, an organ, and many other amazing things. Here is the heart of the island — a unique icon of the mother of God from the needlewoman Yacinta Kunich, who gave her creation to the temple in the XVIII century. Yacinta used the most complex embroidery technique, which she perfected over this icon for 25 years. She also used her gray hair, which she used to decorate the head of the mother of God. On the island there is an interesting Archaeological Museum, a lighthouse and a souvenir shop. EXCURSION TO RISAN

The first information about this city can be found in the Chronicles of the IV century BC. Tourists will personally see the oldest city of Boka-Kotor Bay. It is less popular than Kotor, but gradually attracts more and more tourists. There are traces of the Roman period. Also in the city we will see the Palace of Ivelichs from the XVIII century, the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Gabela street, where the main attraction is the medieval bridge. After exploring all the attractions, you can take a walk in the local Park and explore the surrounding area. The greatest value of Risan is the Roman mosaic.

ROMAN MOSAICS IN RISAN

Once on the territory of Risan there were villas built by the Romans. Today, it is difficult to determine who owned such real estate. There are little remains of the villas themselves, but there is a Roman mosaic on the territory of one of them.
